About the role
Reporting to the Asia Pacific Vice President, Financial Services and Commercial Sales, we are currently looking to appoint a Commercial Sales Executive. Based at our Corporate Headquarters in New Zealand (Auckland or Wellington), this newly created role will be responsible for selling into new logo accounts across the Retail, Construction, Gas or Utilities sector on a full portfolio basis.
You will plan, organize, lead and control balanced sales growth, and develop and manage a qualified opportunity pipeline. Using an existing network of contacts, you will sell a range of IT Outsourcing Managed Services solutions. The Commercial Sales Executive is expected to identify and close complex sales opportunities across an assigned geography. As a brand ambassador for Unisys, you will prepare sales and relationship strategies, financial committee materials, executive-level prospect presentations, and business transformation deals that result in new and improved ways for clients to do business.
About you
With relevant tertiary qualifications, our ideal candidate is an ambitious IT Solution sales professional, with experience gained working across Retail, Construction, Utilities or Oil & Gas clients. With a proven track record in qualifying and pursuing new opportunities, you are conversant with Data Centre Transformation, Application modernization, Outsourcing, and End-User services. The ability to work across a complex matrix organization is vital, as is your deep understanding of the marketplace and industry sector in which you operate.
