Auckland Transport (AT) is the agency responsible for the public transport network of Auckland. With over 90 million public transport trips across bus, rail and ferry, our network is growing with ongoing improvements and services. AT is always trying to provide Aucklanders the frequency and quality of transport to get where they want when they want.

The role

This is an integral role to the running of our public transport service. Based in Operations HQ, the central Auckland operations team has the added excitement of changing requirements at short notice.

No day is ever the same, high volumes, big expectations and increasing complexity means this role has to be filled by someone with a high degree of experience, skill and quick responses under pressure.

Working collaboratively with teams across Auckland Transport this role will:

• Lead responses to planned and unplanned events on the public transport network
• Manage key relationships with public transport operators
• Monitor and manage service level agreements
• Mitigate potential risks to public transport services

We are looking for

The successful candidate will come from an operational background where they have managed suppliers via contracts or service level agreements.

You will have significant experience in operations having dealt with multiple parties in order to deliver quick responses to events. Key industry experience could include freight operational roles in either land, air or sea, a background in supply chain or logistics, call centres, office management, or small business ownership.
