We are currently recruiting an experienced and passionate Boutique Manager for our successful Fragrance and Beauty Boutique in Britomart, New Zealand. This opportunity will allow you to showcase your sound business acumen, your ability to motivate and lead your team and your passion for the beauty retail industry.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coaching and mentoring all team members to on a day to day basis, acting as a mentor and role model to ensure competency in all areas of the boutique.
- Motivating all staff to achieve a high standard of client service in order to maximise the sales and profitability of the boutique.
- Working with the Area Sales Manager to take action on issues within the business and develop solutions to improve employee performance and to develop and empower the team.
- Selling across the three categories of Fragrance, Makeup and Skincare, including educating customers of the features and benefits of each product.
- Collaborating with your teammates, working together to achieve the best outcomes for our clients and the business.
- Building and developing a strong customer network in order to grow the boutique VIP database.
- Upholding the exceptional in-store experience and store presentation that Chanel is regarded for world wide.
We require you to hold the following attributes and skills:
- Strong retail operational skills with at least two years’ experience in a management role, preferably within a similar luxury environment.
- Demonstrated ability to create and develop a strong client data base through outstanding customer and after sales service.
- The ability to achieve and exceed budgeted sales targets and motivate your team to success
- The ability to support, lead, motivate and inspire, creating a strong, friendly people-oriented culture of high performance.
- Excellent knowledge of skincare, cosmetics and fragrance and the ability to interact with clientele across these areas.
