The IT Matching Applications team is looking for skilled and motivated integration specialist for its Alliance Lite2 platform. The candidate with strong technical background and skills will participate in the design, development, system integration and testing of the different Alliance Lite2 initiatives.

The candidate will work with a diversified team comprising Developers, Business Analysts and QA Testers on exciting projects related to infrastructure using among others Oracle Solaris, and databases; other projects will include Java developments for some of the internal components of Alliance Lite2.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the understanding of the functional requirements for each project, transforming them into technical solutions.
  • Contribute to the design, implementation and deployment of the proposed solutions. This includes writing installation and configuration guides for the operational group.
  • Participate in the maintenance and creation of automated integration and regression tests
  • Participate in the investigation and resolution of production issues
  • Provide technical assistance to other SWIFT colleagues and assist in resolving problems reported by less senior team members.

Qualifications

Education
University degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
Experience
5+ years of experience in a similar position in a comparable technical environment.

Professional knowledge and expertise
  • The candidate should have at least a 5 years proven track record working in Unix environments (integrating different technologies, including monitoring tools)
  • Having experience with Java developments is also an asset
Essential Technical skills
  • Exposure to various OS platforms: Windows, UNIX (Oracle Solaris, AIX, HPUX), Linux (RedHat). Including shell scripting.
  • JVM performance tuning on various OS platforms: Windows, UNIX (Oracle Solaris, AIX, HPUX), Linux (RedHat).
  • J2EE: application server, servlets, JSP, EJB, JavaScript, JMS, Web Services, …
  • Network protocols: TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, HTTP/S
  • XML (schema, xslt, …)
  • Software development environments and tools: Configuration Management (ClearCase), Integrated Development Environment (Eclipse), Change Management.
  • Java development skills

Additional Technical skills (knowledge in the following domains is an additional asset; specific training program will be provided to complement the candidate expertise when needed)
  • Java JDK (version >= 8)
  • Security technologies: PKI, HMAC, AES, SSL, HSM
  • Familiarity with development and integration using SWIFT Interfaces products for SWIFTNet InterAct, FileAct, FIN, Browse services is a strong asset.
